Could incorrect modem time explain incorrect STM time?

I've just checked the event log on my modem and I've noticed that the time is one hour behind (16:00 instead of 17:00). I assume that the modem time is synced with the CMTS.

Could this mean that the time on my local UBR is wrong and would this effect the timing of the STM because STM does appear to last until 22:00 for me. I always get throttled if I go over the limit between 21:00 and 22:00.

Please note - I have a limited understanding of the terms I've used in the post so apologise if they are used incorrectly.

Re: Could incorrect modem time explain incorrect STM time?

I'm prepared to bet that the modem is actually set to GMT, whereas we are currently running on BST (GMT+1).
