2 MB BB Price
I currently pay £18 pm for my 2 MB BB, and I have a £11 pm phone line.
How come after 12 months on http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...et/mother.html the price increases from £4.50 to £9 pm which is still half of what I'm paying.
I've just also noticed this http://allyours.virginmedia.com/webs...duct.do?id=227 that shows 2MB BB is £17 pm.
How come existing long term customers end up paying more?

Re: 2 MB BB Price
2Mb Broadband is £18 on it's own. It is £17 when you are on e-billing for which you get a £1 discount
The £9 price works out as £18 broadband, £11 phone line, -£8 because you have the two and -£1 for e-billing, making it £20. As the standard phone line rental is £11, take that away from £20 you get £9.
Im sure if you speak to Customer Relations on 150 option 2 option 2 they will give you the broadband and phone for the £20 package (when on e-billing and D/D). It will be a new 12 month contract

Re: 2 MB BB Price
No they wont give me a 2 for £20 bundle because I also have the (free) M TV package.
I was thinking I may as well pay the extra £1 and go for the 3 for £30 and get a few more TV channels but that deal seems to now only be "new customers only"

Re: 2 MB BB Price
If you speak to customer relations they will give you either of the two bundles you have mentioned. Either option is a new 12 month contract

And in the case of nottingham, retentions will NOT give you those deals or anything "great" of a deal, anymore.
Not allowed to.

Re: 2 MB BB Price
I know that they don't give deals out at random. But as the OP is not in contract and is more that likely going to get a better deal from Sky if Virgin can't come up with something decent, That is what Customer Relations are there for.
Customer Care can't do anything apart from put them on a package which is about £44.

do you only need to have 2 of their services to get the £ 8 discount?
I've got tv/bb/phone and would gladly get rid of tv but thought that I'd lose the £ 8 discount.

Re: 2 MB BB Price
The TV M is not needed to get the discount. It does count as part of any minimum term, so say Sales gave you the 3 for £20 in January, even though the TV M is no extra, you can't remove it till Jan 09
