Entrapment?

Now, i must start of this topic by saying im no expert in the slightest, just a few things could do with clearing up for me, and perhaps others...

Ok, ....how is it illegal to download a dummy song and how would they prove you had the intent to download the actual one?

Isn't this what the police would call entrapment?

Now, i havent received one of these letters from VM but was just interested for the sake of anyone that did.

Possibly entrapment, if the article is correct, but you could have appended your comments to this thread rather than opening a new one.
