crazy happenings.

hi,first post on this forum,just installed kasperskey anti virus
programme,my download speeds have gone through the roof.
checked all the usual sites and my speeds are apparently anywhere
between 20-170 meg,whats that all about then!

The only site that Virgin take any notice of regards speed tests is this one.

Have you tried going to this link to check your speeds http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/

click on blueyondergames>demos>then click on at least 2 large files and run them wait a couple of minutes then write down the transfer rates on the files that are running> times them by 8 and you will get a truer download speed.
