Staying on my 4Mb (steady 3.8Mb) - apparently being upgraded this month, but it happens when it happens.

Re: Finnally time to leave vm?

fairly happy with 20mb

if they start throttling newsgroups, however, then it's off to Be (I can live with ~6mb if I have to)

Re: Finnally time to leave vm?

Stay with VM cable as ADSL will only give me 3Mb max, I am on VM 4Mb still waiting for Winnersh to be upgraded, I get 3.9Mb solid on VM.

Re: Finally time to leave vm?

Leaving when I decide to pay the cancellation fee or when my current contract expires in September. I'm less than 2km from a be* enabled exchange so should be able to get reasonable speeds with ADSL2, with generally better peering, better uploads and unhampered download speeds. With a third period of STM and Application Management on the horizon personally I think my broadband XL needs to be less than £25pm or it just won't offer good value for money. Obviously that's not going to happen so it'll be time to move on after 8 years of mainly flawless service.

I will leave if any of their STM measures get any worse than they are now.
