Cable modem not responding

It's a scientific atlanta....had it replaced 3 months ago.

After several minutes of surfing, the data lights stop flashing (send/receive)...resulting in web pages not loading. What is the problem?

Re: Cable modem not responding

is there anything on top of it? It could be over heating?

If you unplug and replug it in does it work straight away? Could just be faulty?

Re: Cable modem not responding

Router problem maybe? sometimes my router stops responding, which results in websites not loading, and i have to reset the router as opposed to the modem
