Angry low speeds and high packetloss

Ill keep this short and sweet . That SNR is bad right? especially for QAM256 mode?

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Frequency : 402750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM256
Downstream Interleave Depth : 32
Downstream Receive Power Level : 8.2 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 29.4 dB

My bro called tech support (before I found out how to access the modem stats pages) and got fobbed off with "spyware hijacking the bandwidth", which it isnt. Whats the magic word to get this sorted?

Re: low speeds and high packetloss

This must be scripted BS. That's the crap they were spouting off to me about a year ago. Next it will be a virus, and then what ever else their little list tells them to say. Hope you have more luck then me, 'cos after a year they finally admitted it was over subscribed.
