Any other gamers having REALLY bad ping last 2 days ? - Page 8

for me in south manchester as soon as 4pm rolls around my ping goes up by 100

supposed to be 20-30 now its 150

it wont stabalise until about 1am either

on top of this my speed is awful, under a meg during this time too

ALL of the tracerts are pointing this to be NTL's side. im still having problems. my ping rockets to about 400-700 at times. its crap

I usually average 40-70 any way, but i'v never felt what you would call a lag. No game lag, no shooting lag. Aim at someone click and it hits perfectly. Heck Iv even had no lag at pings of 140 in cod4. just checked one of the games i played a few days ago and i had a ping of 141 on it (i think it was US though) but still, no lag.

UT2004 on the other hand is a different story, there you notice a huge difference between pings of 40 and pings of 70. Luckily however, my average ping is always 32-40 on the euro servers and around 24 on UK server, so i havnt had an issue there either.
