Slow Internet
During my recent switch to ADSL Virgin Media my speeds have been very bad. Even in off-peak hours I get no higher than 2mb.. my line can handle 7mb+ as I did the bt speedtester and my previous ISP at least gave me these speeds in off peak hours. My speeds in on peak hours are very slow aswell not getting above 500kbps. It is not my end because I have tried another modem. Please may you suggest what I could do?

some others have been having similar issues to yourself. I am not very well versed in how ADSL operates or the reasons as to why you are experiencing such poor speeds.

Might be an idea to call the ADSL support line to see if they can help. Or obviously if someone else on this forum can help i am sure they will post in due course.
