how do i change my ip address ?
iv been banned from a torrent site, not cuz of my ratio or the like but for posting pics. anyways i can get onto the site using proxy but i cant download so what do i need to do to be able to download ?

if your on a VM cable connection you could try un-plugging your modem for 30 mins and you may be given a new IP address.
I remember reading somewhere that if you connect the modem via USB and then change it back to Ethernet that will issue you a new IP too !

well if this breaks forum rules then the mods can remove my post.
IP addresses change ever so often anyways as the ip's are dynamic unless you are on a business connection.

No, as the proxies work on the http ports only and not the ports required for P2P
