Can anyone get online with Virgin??

Still no internet or broadband for the Croydon area - nothing since 6pm Monday!

Is it just Croydon that is out, or are other areas still not working?

Strange! I have an engineer booked for 31 December - just came off the phone from customer services and they confirmed Croydon is still without interactivity and internet since Sunday evening

hmm.. well last time I checked I was on a croydon ubr - though I'm technically in Sutton (it becomes Croydon 2 roads down) - but certainly everything (touch wood) is fine there.

perhaps you are getting benefit from the Sutton feed as you say. Good news is that Virgin will be refunding charges from Sunday until I get access again, but would rather have access and pay.

chartwell, turn the modem upside down, then you'll have a sticker on the bottom with a 12 digit number which is the MAC ADDRESS... should be displayed like **:**:**:** etc etc.

Cheers DocDutch, I will get my MAC address then and message r00t although when i get home to find out the MAC, I won't be able to get online to send it because it doesn't work!!

Amazing how lost you suddenly feel without the internet!
