Re: Broadband down and technical support no answer, CS out of order??

in Cleethorpes it has just gone off. I was uploading to my website and it just stopped !!

from my router I have notice the cable modem is only giving out 192 address as well. The cable modem has 0 in downstream and upstream and states network Acess denied !!. It also states in the status waiting for DHCP response

Re: Broadband down and technical support no answer, CS out of order??

I have managed to login on my modem and it appears to be blocked by Virgin on the Cable Modem Operation Configuration page it shows that the modem has network access denied..

I find this to e rather bad on them since they take the money each month by DD and yet block my access to the internet.
Tried to call for support and all you get is a message saying that they are having technical difficulties and if you need urgent help to visit virginmedia.com....... Sure with the internet blocked that is really easy at present my neighbour has enabled his wireless router to allow me to connect to the internet.

I've just this minute had an attempted or failed software upgrade. I'm unsure whether its failed or not? But it got back online pretty quickly.

Re: Broadband down and technical support no answer, CS out of order??

Same in Peterborough - went down at 9.30, back up (so far) at 9.41
During down-time, network access "denied" in cable modem status page.

Re: Broadband down and technical support no answer, CS out of order??

Just came in about 15 mins ago to find out I'm out in the Chiltern/South Bucks area too. No ready or sync lights on my NTL 100 modem.

Very odd, I think this is just my 3rd problem since I got NTL about 6 years ago.
