Buffalo Air Station, CM Query

Hi all

This morning my wireless network stopped working, however, I can still use the internet via direct connection with the ethernet cable.

Upon checking my router settings page, it seems to have a problem obtaining (??) the DHCP from the modem. I can connect to the router fine, there just seems to be stopping the internet signal going from the CM to the router to my pc.

I've checked the log on the cable modem, and it lists the following:

Is this anything to do with it, or seperate? When trying to release the DCHP on the router settings page, it always fails. Are the two linked?

Hi there, i have lots of these errors from my CM... I don't worry about them, especially if you can connect directly. What I would check is the router log see if anything is in there... What I would say tho is, if you can connect directly without the router in-line, then I would deffinatly check the router, maybe the router cant release an ip if it hasent acquired one to start with?, if that isn't the case, I would write all my settings down (thats if you havent changed them since the problem), and do a hard reset of the router. I had to hard reset mine before (mercury cheepo) when i was only obtaining 4mb speed from a 20mb connection.

Thanks for that mate, for some reason, I never thought of a hard reset!

Will give it a go when I get in tonight and let you know if it helps. Its definitely a router issue as I can browse easily via a direct connection to the SACM.
