Connection dropping - Router or VM?

Hey,

Just got back from Hong Kong and Mum says the internet has been dropping off and on for a few days, every computer in the house is wireless. Swapped the router today for a Belkin one (was on Linksys). And have been getting the same problem but not as often.

Also noticed the Modem receiving a lot of updates... could this be a VM problem rather then my router(s).

Modem's not really in an ideal place to test with a wired connection otherwise I could get a better idea.

Re: Connection dropping - Router or VM?

bypass the router and wire directly to the modem and see if it does it then
