i download my fair share of stuff for the month but never download that amounts that have been talked about, for me, personally i dont need HD stuff, divx encoded stuff does me as especially when most is just thrown away after being watched, most heavy downloaders seem to be collectors/sellers how much of the stuff you get is actually used? i know HD movies etc can be massive and about 40gig but can you really see the difference between 720 and 1080dpi?

So as you say you cannot personally justify that amount of data which is fine. on the other hand NOBODY should feel the need to justify how much they download on an UNLIMITED Package!
If you put 1000 pound coins in a box on the street with a sign saying "take only as much as you need" do you think it would last long ? it would be gone in seconds.
Lets remember here folks its VM who tell us we can download as much as we like so why should i care what effect it was having in the network ?
VM make the rules so if you want things to change then take it up with them.

24/7 is the very maximum. I don't think things are that extreme.

How about then, if you bought a car with a max speed of 70 miles an hour, would you chug along at 50 on an autobahn?

lol good answer, but the point is still in there. If you wanted to get somewhere in the end (ie download something) you'd do it 24/7 if it was no inconvenience to you. And obviously dl 24/7 isn't an inconvenience to the people that do it.

Affordable isn't a word in my 16 year old vocabulary
I have one 320GB, one 250GB, and one 160GB internal I use for back ups. The 250 isn't plugged in at the moment though, need a new power supply to juice it up

Yep... Don't see the point of downloading just for the sake of it, Has to be a purpose even if it was just to try something decide I didn't like it and then delete it.

All the downloading i do is for a purpose, and i watch 99% of things i get.
I rarely burn things off though and if i do, i use taiyo yuden media to do so due to their high quality dye.
In general though if i run out of space i just buy another new hard drive, usually 500gb drives these days.
