UBR
Im trying to find out what UBR im on, as my broadband connection keeps going off, so im trying to find out whats going on in my area from the Virgin Media status page.
My UBR address is: cpc1-XXXX6-0-0-custXXX.XXXX.cable.ntl.com
So can some1 please tell me what my UBR is and what the rest of it means.

The xxxx before the 6 is your ubr. The letters should give you some clue as to your area.

That XXXX before the 6 is the area i live in, it has no numbers though???

The number of UBR's in an area depends on the size of the area. AFAIK the other info, like customer number is just for virgins use, what it is used for, i have no idea.

You are on the 6th UBR in your area. There are typically between 3 and 9.
I think cpc1 means you are on card 1 of the UBR.

I always thought cosh was some weird cool techinical term, until a few weeks back i realised it meant cosham... and now I know that's my UBR! Ah i'm growing up...
