modem question

A friend of nine has just moved out from 2 doors up from me (xiao don't say a word! ) and is moving to bt as they don't have vm ware hes moving to!

He gave me his vm modem!
Some questions..
1 is it legal does it still belong to virgin!

2 can i install it in a second room rather than networking my one (there is a modem point upstairs)

3. Will it work?

Thanks for your input!

It's the property of Virgin.

Don't install it.

Re: modem question

The modem is no use to you. even if you connected it up it wouldnt work as you can only have 1 modem per account.

So its useless. you may as well chuck it away
