Internet Down in Stoke
I am absolutly disgusted with Virgin...
My connection has been down since Tuesday night, i'm on 20mb and connect through a 250 CM. The sync light on my CM is constantly flashing, and the interactive light on both my set top boxes are flashing.
I phoned tech support tonight and they said all they could do was sent an engineer out, the next available engineer is WEDNESDAY 4-7 FFS!. The person i spoke to on the phone didnt really say much or try and come to a conclusion on the problem.
So now im supposed to go a week without an internet connection? It's ****ing obsurd and im gonna give virgin hell when i phone them tomorrow.

Re: Internet Down in Stoke
Sync light flashing is a sign of incorrect signal levels.
You could check on http://192.168.100.1 (root/root for user/pass).
If its higher than 15dbVm or lower than -15dbVm then there are issues, and a technician will be needed. A high signal level can be fixed by a homebrew method, but since thats in violation of the ToS, I cant tell you.

Re: Internet Down in Stoke
It should just unscrew.....rectangle block with threads usually on the end of your cable to your mobile and screws in the back of your modem.
