20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
I notice that VM have finished with the 20Mb roll out. What do you think will be there next move? I spoke to customer services the other day and the girl was adamant there were no plans to upgrade the lower tier broadband services. Whats your best guess?

Re: 20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
so if they up it to 40mb we might just get 10mb if we are lucky lol!!,
personally i would rather than them work on another upgrade to 40 or 50meg they should actually make what they have more stable, and make it so that people actually get(within reason) what they are paying for that way, there would be more happy customers.
and more customers means more money to spend in the future on further upgrades with proper stability.

There have been trials in Kent of 50mb were they a success >?
This was three months ago confirmed by two different techs who visited.

There were limited 50Mb trials, but new equipment was required in order to make it work.
There won't be a commercial 50Mb service for some time yet.

Re: 20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
The rumour mill has started on DS about 4meg users being on 10 meg trials, but I have to agreed with the above posters on addressing stability and capacity first. If they "upgraded" my stable 4 meg connection and to a hideously unstable 10 meg connection I will be mightily cheesed off!

Re: 20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
I think their next mvvoe should be to stop trying to compete with high downloads and start increasing the overall bandwidth it gives to its customers.
As i have mentioned before i am still struggling to hit 20Mb or even 10Mb, they need to start looking at why most of us are not getting what we pay for, oh and their customer service stinks, thats needs to be re looked at.

Re: 20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
As people appear to now be posting modem logs with updated config files I thought it might be worth linking to as an fyi.
Has anyone else hard anything on this at all?

Re: 20Mb Roll Out Complete, what next?
Now that 20Mb is fully rolled out there will be a 15 month period of poor network performance and numerous customer complaints; after those 15 months VM will announce a free speed increase for all customers and the cycle will continue.
