Angry The Internet Sucks!
I used to be on Telewest's Internet and it was fantastic, fast speeds, low latency, all the nuts and bolts...

But when Virgin took over, my internet feels like dial-up, it can take pages up to 5 minutes to load, and google doesn't even load sometimes!

And when I play online gaming my latency/ping is off the chart, 3000ms!! it used to be below 100 with Telewest!

Im on the 2mb package, just like I was with Telewest, and I am appalled.

If there is something happening at Virgin that I am unaware of, please let me know, but otherwise, im gonna need a damn good explanation.

It's not just you m8.. I think most are experiencing it too.. I play MMO's and have also been with telewest for a long time, I am on the 20mb connection and its really crap.

hoping it changes soon.....

It seems turning off uTorrent has solved my problems!

I suspect uTorrent is still set to the default; i.e. use the maximum available bandwidth. If you throttle uTorrent you will be able to reach a compromise between Torrent speed and browsing speed.

Well that seems obvious. Maxing out your upload will kill your download and give you massive pings...
