Not good download speed GREAT speed???

I have changed a setting in my antivirus (Kaspersky) under the Anti-Hacker settings from Maximum Compatibility to Maximum Speed, when doing a download test Here and on speedtest.net the results are great. Have I broken something? I cleared the cache before each test the ones that are low is where I have changed the setting back to maximum compatibility.

These results appear to be rather fast - this page was possibly in the browser cache.

Re: Not good download speed GREAT speed???

Maybe something else is caching the site on your PC and not just the browser? There is no way you are getting those speeds for real. Maybe Kapersky is acting as a cache while it is filtering the traffic?

Agreed, Even if VM's network were capable of that kind of speed, and the Modem could handle it (the fastest the VM modems can usually handle is 38Mbps), the Ethernet port on the modem would not handle it.
