there are no ambit 250 modems listed, or VM branded 255 ones, either, is it possible they are only listing modems that are nbg, now ???

You lost me with nbg but no doubt that is something obvious?
It's odd though, they list both ok modems, and modems that need upgrading. Very strange turn of events. I've ticked the ambit100/120 button and said that it is the same style as the modem I have. Let's see what happens. After all the messing around they have done and charging me for a crap service, a new modem is the least they can give me while they still happily take my money every bloody month.

Wierd. Did wonder if it only lists the modems for ex TW or ex NTL, but surely Manchester, like Sale, is ex NTL?

I'll invite ADSL-2 to beat this - [a capture of a screenshot so the quality is bad :P] but for those of you who can't make that out, that's 2589KB/s ...which is over 20mb

Ring up, myself and my partner did and they sorted it out, we called Friday afternoon and today come back from town to my net being off line only to reboot to find 20mb
