Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?

well as i thought that 20mb schedule is a load of rubish, and once again VM failed to live upto its promises. The schedule states "belfast area 20mb in june" as it does with alot of others an as theres less than 2hrs of june left i think its safe to say it aint gonna happen. At least when the company was NTL you got your upgrade when promised or at least i did on the 2 upgrades they did.

10mb - speed test from belfast to london....

Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?

I am in the Luton area and should have the new speed by now. Looks like I have just got what I have been paying £35 a month for over the last 3 years.

I have a Belkin 54G wireless router, but this should not slow things down should it. I have also rebooted the NTL 250 modem.

Anything simple I am missing?

Thanks, Marcus.

i know it might be down to other users all testing at the same time. but im sure it is down to the modem they supply. the ntl/home 200.
i dont believe it can handle the speed.

will be requesting a new modem from them or reduced bill as im only getting 3/4 of my connection

forgot to mention im in the cosham area

Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?

You are getting what you pay for - 14mb is "up to 20mb" - VM will says they do not gaurantee 20mbps.

Not right - but they are careful.

I got half price for a month as I'm often getting less on 20mb than I did on 10mb.
