well i've been upgraded and the config is showing 20mb, alas...
1st 512K took 343 ms = 1492.7 KB/sec, approx 12300 Kbps, 12.01 Mbps
2nd 512K took 344 ms = 1488.4 KB/sec, approx 12264 Kbps, 11.98 Mbps
3rd 512K took 328 ms = 1561 KB/sec, approx 12863 Kbps, 12.56 Mbps
4th 512K took 328 ms = 1561 KB/sec, approx 12863 Kbps, 12.56 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 12573 Kbps, 12.28 Mbps
anything to do with being on a 120 perhaps?

Hang on, so as long as I can manage to plug it into a plug socket, connect my ethernet and shove the broadband cable into another modem I am spared a £25 charge?
