if you want to believe in a estimated timer, go ahead. My grabit also says I download at 1.700mb/s and the timer is lower that that, till it settles and you get a true account. Try DU Meter, lol. Noob.

When I were a lad, (actually I was in my 20s), my hayes 2400bps modem used to load almost half a page of text from my not quite online newsfeed at spuddy.mew.co.uk and it were luxury....

Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?
Addlestone in Surrey just switched to 20 meg though the traffic shaping in the evenings they started the other week is limiting it to around 10. Will try a few downloads after midnight.
Had to reboot my modem to get the new config.

Lol, ok you got me, I didn't mean it ok
Back on topic, does it mean that if you're throttled on 20mb will you be (back) on 10mb or will it be 5mb?
I'm sure it will be sometime IN May, not on the dot of May (I hope I'm wrong).

Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?
This thread is going to get spammed to hell come 12:01 with "Where is my 20mb?!?!" posts. It's *from* the 1st of may remember, I doubt I'll see it before at least mid may here, the Midlands always seems to be just that, in the middle for any roll-out.

Re: Anyone on the 20mbit/s yet?
From what I've heard...it's supposed to be rolling out in the NW early... not sure about any other areas.

C'mon. I mean, I'll give it to 12.02

Well If VM actually gave roll out dates and information to their customers on when they will exactly get it, we wouldnt really have that problem...but then, yes we would as they always plan to deliver, and give us failure
