So what is the point of asking if it is not happening till MAY ?

Or are you one of these who thinks that dates are for ignoring and The bloke down the pub knows the dates better than the company that will be doing the upgrade.

Not the most helpful of posts Bill With the price of XL broadband going up on May 1st I think people have an expectation that the upgrade will occur pretty much then. To hit that target would mean that the upgrade programme would presumably be starting around now? There may well be a lot of bad feeling created when the price of the XL package goes up but the speed doesn't - It would have been better to announce that the upgrade was taking place and that the price would be going up when the programme had completed.

It's not helpful that VM even post a link to the upgrade programme and the haven't put the detail up yet

http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...d_rollout.html

I appreciate that your customers will never be satisfied and they'll complain about the injustice that regions A & B have been upgraded so why haven't they etc but it does seem that, what with the modem upgrade charge debacle, that the whole issue isn't being fantastically well managed...
