Which network type am I on

Hi...

This might be a real stupid question, but I am new on here

How can I find out what kind of network I am on, I will change to 20mbps when it becomes available in May, but want to know if I will need to change my old Ambit (silver) modem when I do...

(it is currently working fine on 10mbps)

Cheers
Dan

Re: Which network type am I on

If you're posting from your home connection at the moment then you are on ADSL, not cable. So 20meg won't be available to you.

Re: Which network type am I on

You will need a modem upgrade in that case as this modem will not handle 20Mb
