strange readings from cable modem

Hi everyone i am new to the forum
I am on 4meg TW broadband with a motorola surfboard and linksys router, every so often i check the signal levels etc on the surfboard, but today i noticed in the
config address where it says (Known CPE MAC Address Status) i have 2 mac addys one says self & one say's learned. This was not there yesterday also none of these are the addy's of my router or any nic cards, has anyone any ideas?
