Lose of Connection

Hi,

I have problems with my cable broadband since January now. A technician was there and it came out that a neighbour was tapping my cable line. He fixed it and put isolating tape on the cable.

However my internet connection breaks down many times a day.

I contacted Virgin Media and they think it is a faulty modem. (I don´t think so). They need to send a technician again to swap the modem.

I´ve got the Motorola cable modem. What configuration parameters are correct?

Upstream Channel ID, Frequency?

Regards,

Frank
