Hey, does anyone else in the Teesside area have this problem with their broadband?
Been two days now, we have some kind of connection for a few minutes and then it dies. The modem has to reconnect to the cable line and we're back on. Happens every 5 minutes or so. Very frustrating.
I read in the status that work is being carried out this week on the broadband systems, but nothing specific on Teesside or any surrounding areas as far as I can see.
Just for your information, we're connected to 4MB and have the (very old) Terayon TJ210.
Yup, getting that in ipswich too - same service, same modem. And I have a feeling that they are going to be even harder to talk to once the merger is all settled
Get him to swap the modem....mine was doing the same on 10mb until i got it swapped for a 250...there appears to be a problem with the Terror-yons...a quick scout round the forums will show just how big it is
