Huge Broadband problems - Manchester

I live in the Manchester area and this morning my internet was working fine. I had good low latency on World of Warcraft and was able to browse website freely.

However at the moment my entire broadband is crippled i have tried restarting my set top box and restarting computer to make sure it's neither of those problems. I have also changed proxy servers on the site but with no help.

I am having extreme latency on World of Warcraft (3k-6k with multiple disconnects), browsing sites is unbelievably slow, Skype is stuttery on the upload and their seems to be packet loss and e-mail is not receiving correctly through ntlworld's POP e-mail.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems as gameplay and just simple web browsing at the moment is quickly becoming unbearable.

I was so bad here in Ashton yesterday that I rang tech support. An engineer is coming out on Tuesday. Its better now, but running Dan Elwell's tests reports lots of packet loss and terrible pings to some areas. Also very slow download times, yet some of the web-based speed-test sites give me reasonable results

Posted about it yesterday.. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...3606234&page=2

Warrington area was indeed shockingly bad throughout the weekend. Some semblance of normality seems to have been restored today.

Even contemplated popping down to the green cabinet to check that the hamster hadn't fallen off the wheel.
