NTL Internet issue?

Does NTL currently have any form of internet issue? I say this because I have 3 machines that can connect to the internet (2 wired through a router & another wirelessly). Yesterday all working fine, but now, not one connects.

But, to confuse, I also have a work laptop connected to the same router, and this connects via VPN to my work, and through them out onto the internet (hence this note).

Can't understand it myself - obviosuly nothing wrong with my connection to NTL, as this link would not work. All 3 non-working machines have re-booted with same issue.

Is it just web browsing thats affected on the 3 machines (can you send email or do anything else for instance)... also try pinging an IP address like 194.168.4.100

Email is working fine. First attempt at pinging 194.168.4.100 failed, but retried, and worked OK (checked settings for 1st one, and the were correct). However, still no internet access through PC, but work laptop connects fine via VPN.

OK - think I now know what is causing the problem, but not sure how to fix it. I am trying to upload a design into Vistaprint, but everytime I do this, it seems to lock the modem for internet, which then needs re-booting.
Spoke to the helpdesk, who said they are having problems with Internet Explorer 7, but could offer no other help, apart from don't load firefox.

Anyone else having this issue?

Are you on SACM? If so can you access your modem pages and see what your levels are? Could well be an upstream problem.
