Re: help!

Where are you geographically, what do you connect through (STB or SACM), what hardware is connected to your BB, what O/S are you running and what firewall/AV etc are running?

I get

Code:

 8 212.250.14.42 19ms 18ms 18ms TTL: 0 (No rDNS)
 9 62.72.140.142 18ms 18ms 18ms TTL: 0 (g1-1-6.er01.tn5.bb.pipex.net ok)
10 212.241.241.14 17ms 18ms 18ms TTL: 0 (ge-0-0-0-3801.jolt-gw.cust.pipex.net fraudulent rDNS)
11 195.149.21.141 19ms 22ms 17ms TTL: 54 (No rDNS)
so it does look like you have some packet loss, somewhere - 'where' is, presumably, the problem

also the routing on that 212.250 hop, may be a factor ??

Re: help!

potz not all tech's, those that fit cable & modems are computer buffs. So he may not have known about what you were showing him, tracert, pings etc..

You'd be best showing/explaining your findings to TSC.
