Can anyone tell me if NTL uses Shared IP address's ?

If you mean sharing one IP amongst multiple users, then, AFAIK, they don't. What you may be thinking of is that NTL use proxies in a lot of areas. Some (badly coded, IMO) websites detect the Proxy IP when they ask for the Users IP.

IP addresses are dynamic so two people can have the same IP address (especially on dialup where sessions and lease times are short), but not at the same time.
