nt's BB Small User Business Package - a few questions?

Can anyone provide me with some further info regarding ntl’s single user business packages? Firstly, are they uncapped? My wife is self-employed and a business line would meet the criteria of her small needs. How do you go about getting a business line and why is it cheaper than a consumer line? Lastly, current quoted speeds are 750 and 1.5Mb – will these too be upgraded like the consumer lines with 3Mb being the premium service?

Thanks in advance.

Re: nt's BB Small User Business Package - a few questions?

I too am self-employed but use a second line through NTL: Home. Is it really cheaper to use the :Business service? I don't see any pricing info on that link (though that may well, as usual, be because I can see wood for trees ). And don't forget, as I did, that Business rates quoted exclude VAT.

I'd also be grateful if anyone has knowledge whether the speed upgrades will apply to Business broadband as I'm still debating whether to switch (although mainly to get a static IP in the hope that emails won't take up to three days to reach me/addressees!).

Sorry, I meant telephone charges (am I on the wrong wavelength again?!!). Saw the broadband charges but couldn't work out if Business telephony was cheaper than Home telephony.

Yeah - I've browsed over there already Neil - cheers. Couldn't find any info on the capping though (if at all) and whether the 1.5Mb speeds will be going to 3Mb.

Noticed in the big speed thread someone stated that the cap was 30Gb (presume on the 1.5Mb line) but only during the evenings. Is this correct and if so, what are the exact times of the day the cap is in force and are weekends part of the cap or not?
