Telewest BB config help

A friend has Telewest BB and recenly got some spyware which has changed the config for the modem/service so it directs to an adult site

message from friend
"He did a recognisation check for the modem and then went into config. and
something else. When I told him the number on this screen, he knew straight
away that I had a big problem. He said it was the thing called spyware
that had done the damage "

Any ideas on what was done and how i can clear this spyware Have run spybot, Hijack this and norton systemworks but cannot get rid of it.
