Remote Access..

Hi,

Up until about a week ago I previously used intenet explorer without having a proxy address in, now I have to have a proxy address in. In addition to this I used to be able to access my computers remotely via FTP and remote desktop but this also appears to have stopped working.

Have NTL blocked any remote access to computers on their network?

I'm running through a set top box to XP machines, nothing on these has changed.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Has your IP address changed?
Best to check that first of all

No they haven't - so you need to look elsewhere - as stated above - your ip address changing seems a possibility.

Re: Remote Access..

check your firewall or try running it on different ports, i know that ntl have blocked ports 135-139 in my area but don't know of any other ports
