Boardwalk Empire - season 2

Started in the US this week so I decided to start watching again since I stopped after the first 2 episodes for some reason. It's an excellent show with some excellent performances. You gotta love the boardwalk as well, I didn't realise how much of it was done on blue screen until I watched a set tour video yesterday.

This season looks like it's gunna make things interesting for some of the characters. Hope to see more of Richard Harrow this season, he wasn't really used much in the first episode.

Re: Boardwalk Empire - season 2

Yup, great first episode. I'm surprised that the Commodore, Eli, and Jimmy made their move against Nucky so soon.

Re: Boardwalk Empire - season 2

I know!

I feel sorry for Jimmy's son... I don't think it's a good idea for him to be raised by his grandmother

Nucky's all free and clear, and has fixed things with Eli... what will he say when he finds out about Margaret and the deeds though...

Re: Boardwalk Empire - season 2

Agreed, if she raises him she'll up end up having another son with 3 arms or something.

I wonder what will go on with Chalky though, he switched sides didn't he? Nucky is screwed without him.

Re: Boardwalk Empire - season 2

Chalky just wanted things to be made right for when the KKK raided his warehouse and killed his men.

For all we know, Jimmy may have fixed things with him because Nucky told him to. He did seem to be trying to make up for things.

Still, there's no side to switch to, anyway. Nucky is back on top. Jimmy & the Commodore are dead, one of the Aldermen is dead, and the rest are back in line.
