Well they are seemingly paying her anyways so makes sence to let her do this year and take it from there. Either way certainly brings attention to the US version so even if she does turn out to be total crap it's the attention factor that will be worth the £1.2 million she's apparently getting paid.

and hopefully the Americans will dislike her as much as we do.

Well rumor has it she goes into a right strop and sulks if anyone comments about or says she has no fashion sence. So if the presenting stories are correct she'll be in a sulk untill at least the 2016 series!.

Her fashion sense is fine, its everything else I object too, like the complete (non)ability to sing, dance, or have a personality.

So she has took or been given the easy option of getting the £1.2 million anyways and will sit on her bum for months trying to make out how she has been so hard done by!. Dont think I'd be complaining to get paid that sort of money for a job and then told it's ok you dont need to turn up for work but keep the money lol.

Won't happen anytime soon. It's still getting good viewing figures and is (relatively) cheap to produce.
Still, things can change. Ten years ago, it was hard to find anything on Primetime TV that didn't involve staff at an Airport, Vets or people's houses and/or gardens being done up.
