UK Timeline Boardwalk Empire - season 1

As a massive fan of The Wire, The Sopranos etc i can't wait for this, it looks and sounds brilliant! I'm not sure of the exact date it starts in the UK, but it's the flagship show for the Sky Atlantic channel which launches February 1st.

It's from the screenwriter/producer of The Sopranos Terence Winter and Martin Scorsese and has received critical acclaim. It also has a pretty impressive cast including Steve Buscemi (The Sopranos, Reservoir Dogs), Michael K. Williams (The Wire), Stephen Graham (This is England), Michael Shannon (Bug) and Michael Pitt (Funny Games).

Yup. I've already watched it (US pace thread here).

It's a bit slow paced for some, but I absolutely loved it. Can't wait to watch it again.

Another quality drama from HBO.
