CBS remake of the classic "Hawaii Five-O". Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek 2009, Fringe, Alias) wrote the pilot & serve as Executive Producers, Peter M. Lenkov is the Executive Producer & showrunner.
Airs on Mondays in the US (same night as Castle, Chuck, House, & a tonne of other stuff).

I'm glad they used the iconic music and paid homage to the original opening titles. I enjoyed the first episode, although I think the body count was rather high. Like Maggy J, I'm feeling rather old. Book him Danno, murder one.

Yes, original music, and "Book him Danno"
Watched it tonight - was a good action packed ep, and I think "Spike" will have survived to come back another day. I'll certainly be tuning in next week.

I managed to watch it also - I never saw the original (just a little before I was born/old enough to understand TV) But I thought it was rather good, with some quick wit and bikini clad Grace Park thrown in for good measure will definitely carry on watching.
