Merlin : Season 3
I thought I'd start off a thread for Merlin's upcoming third series with this leaked shaky-cam trailer...(presumably from Comic-Con?).

Series 3 should be on in September, & will AFAIK be the first to be in HD.

I've looked in digiguide and radiotimes.com and no sign of HD version which is a shame as the in an article in the tv guide I buy a few months ago said this series would be HD.

Yup, definitely evil. We know this because of the endless "LOOK AT MY EVIL SMIRK AS I WALK AWAY" evil smirks she does. Way overdone for episode 1, although not quite as bad in episode 2.
I wish Morgana knew about Merlin's magic. I think the scene in the crypt would have been better it Merlin had explained that he does know what it's like, and why...
I hope this season moves on from the endless "Merlin must save the day without Arthur knowing of his magic". It gets a bit tiring.

I'm not so sure it would be the same if Arthur did know. As much as I think about what the series would be like if Arthur knew, then I don't think we would have the mystery, the sarcasim from Arthur to Merlin and the laughter between the two (because of what we know and Arthur doesn't) that brings it all together. As it stands right now, it works. It keeps me interested.

Anyone know why only episodes 12 and 13 were in HD?
Two excellent episodes. It's good to see that everyone knows about Morgana. She really is a bitch, remember her from season 1? Whatever happened to her? Overall it was an excellent series. Isn't series 4 meant to be in 2012 though?

I am fairly sure that 2012 airdate that everyone is talking about refers to when the sc-fi channel will be airing season 4 in the usa ,i am scouring the tinterweb to try and find a british air date

Im pretty sure its referring to the UK dates.
It appears its moving to early 2012 because they are splitting Doctor Who into to two blocks, the second block will take up some of the Autumn 2011 slots that Merlin would normally occupy.

Really enjoyed this series.
It was great that Morganna was finally been revealed as an evil erm..woman. I guess we will see her in 2012, well hopefully anyway.
I wonder if Gais will be back too.
What happened to the 'Cup of Life'? Did Morganna take it with her?
