Castle : Season 1

Castle is finally coming to the UK...TODAY

It will be on "alibi" (Sky Channel 132, Virgin TV 130) on Wednesdays at 9pm, starting on Wednesday 7th April.

Comedy-drama crime series, now in its second season in the US (with a third one confirmed).

Stars Nathan "Mal Reynolds" Fillion as "Richard Castle", a mystery/crime novelist (who sometimes plays poker with James Patterson, Stephen J. Cannell and Michael Connelly cameo-ing as themselves).

After helping the NYPD with some copy-cat murders based on murders from his books, he gets himself "partnered" (via a friendship with the Mayor) full-time with NYPD Detective Kate Beckett (the lovely Stana Katic) for "research" purposes (he's basing a new book series on a character inspired by her).

Re: Castle : Season 1

You can actually buy the book (Heat Wave) which was written to be released at the same time as the season 1 finale aired, I think. I may have to buy the book because for one reason it's released under the name Richard Castle.
