CR3 and Channel Re-numbering to take place in MARCH/April!

The CR3 upgrade and the channel re-numbering will happen sometime in MARCH! it has been revealed by a reliable source over on Digital Spy, they were on the phone to ntl: Customer Services and they confirmed it!

I haven't heard anything about the channel re-numbering in March but it would be a logical time to do things.

I would be very suprised if they do the channel re numbering in March seen as I work for the company and have heard nothig abt this...With big events like this you hear alot abt it months in advance and i don't think they would want to spend the money at this stage on doing this (although they do know it needs done). Also if it was happening in March ntl would of started to communicate it to customers to decrease the negative impact such a big change would have on the business. Otherwise you would get thousands of people calling in the day it all changes to complain that they can't find the favourite channel

As for CR3 rollout its hardly new news it was always expected to happen in spring this year

Not heard anything either re channel renumbering but CR3 was rolled out approx 14 months ago in this area

I hate to be a sceptic, but i'm not going to believe anything until it actually happens. ntl: have said that thing will be done, only for them not to happen, too many times.

The new version of Langley STB software will be of the blue nature.

Can any of the ntl bods give us a version number? Will it be v6 or something, instead of calling it CR3 as that's a bit misleading as the features we will be getting will be much more advanced than CR3 (supposedly)

Much more advanced? This is based on what exactly? As far as I know, LCR3 will be pretty much the same as the Bromley version, but in blue, with a few optimisations and so forth that Bromley will get with MR2.

How do these rumours start?
