Getting through to ntl:freedom CS

Does anyone else find it a complete nightmare getting through to freedom CS?

They've done this thing where instead of putting you in a queue, they take your name and number, promise a callback, then promptly forget about you (I've never actually recieved one).

It's *&^%$ annoying, i'd actually prefer to wait in a queue for 30 mins! at leat i'd eventually get through!!

I have heard of this with a friend of mine has been trying to get through

I believe they are loggin the call back to you as fialed and that you werent there jut to get through a higher number of calls

Thats what was found out when my frined complained to management after ringing customer services

I would suggest ringing 08000522000 and asking to speak to a mananegr giving full story and youll get a callback

Re: Getting through to ntl:freedom CS

yea 0800 052 2000 is only for Ntlhome customers. 0808 200 0000 is the Ntlfreedom call centre number.

Re: Getting through to ntl:freedom CS

I have been trying numerous times to get a replacement NTL telephone dial box for more than 3 months, ringing NTL Freedom CS, getting "profuse aplologies and I will deal with itimmediately"!!!!!!!
In desparation on Wednesday I dialed 0800 052 2000. (NTL World) they answered within about 10 sec. When I got over the shock I explained the problem and was transferred to NTL Freedom who again answered almost immediately. The young lady said she would go and obtain a box, she addressed it and Surprise Surprise it arrived yesterday. Hooray

if those are the boxes that dial 1263 you could have had one of mine

i have about half a dozen kicking about the place here for some reason

don't use any of them though - just dial the prefix number manually

Don't get me started on this....there is no such thing as "customer service" at ntl.

I find that customer service is good. The freedom cs is rubbish but ntlhome are ok now. I have never had any trouble from them.
