how to refresh your epg without reboot

This works in Ex CWC if you have no schedule data available on your epg.

Press the interactive button go onto one of the interactive programs NTL and come out of interactive all your programme information is available.

It works in NW EX-CWC on 2000 and 4000 boxes.

Please try this in other areas and post the results in this thread

Re: how to refresh your epg without reboot

yes it does work...if you can access interactive. generally when i get no schedule data available, the interactive won't work, neither the tv guide.
even if it does work (on mine anyway) the data does return, but it soon goes again after an hour or so.

ntl know about this problem, and after complaining about it one of their faults team person phoned me and said that it is a fault with the software and you have to wait until the next update to fix it.
mr2 is expected early 2004! and SHOULD fix the problem.

even the engineers are confused, as there is nothing wrong with the boxes!

does anyone know any info about this problem and mr2??
