Re: Re-installing NTL Freedom ?

Should be able to set it up via "dial up networking" in win 98/ME go via "accessories" then "communications". Should work without any problems AFAIK. (Use connection wizard if using XP btw)

Just go to "make a new connection" and have user name password and number to be dialed to hand so you can add them when required and you should be fine.

Post again if you have any problems.

EDIT: Welcome to NTLW btw sorry missed your arrival earlier.

As a tip: don't reinstal the whole disk, it'll just take you back to the registration server.

Re: Re-installing NTL Freedom ?

To re-install freedom, create a new dialler using your existing username & password and use the number 1263,08005190100

When you connect up you will then be re-directed to download Rydial software. Its just a case of following the on-screen instructions - put in your username, password and telephone number incl. STD code.
