lines on tv

I have what seem to be two lines running across the screen when on digital channels ( channels 1 -5 or playing a DVD does not have this problem ) Any ideas?

Re: lines on tv

If your lines are horizontal evenly spaced and seem to be more like a shadow effect than actual clearly defined lines then the chances are that its the power supply in the STB.
Not knowing your set up then I'm guessing that channels 1-5 are provided via a bypass so that they don't get "processed" by the STB hence no interference.

Somtimes these will come and go as and when the power supply feels like it, but as always if its affecting your viewing then phone fualts and ask for someone to come out to have a look for you.

Re: lines on tv

The lines are uneven about 3" from top & I guess the same from the base no wider than a pen line but not even ie small breaks & some part twice as wide as others
