digisender is not responding since software update

Hi

ok i dont have a digisender. what I have is a normal video senders & Reciever with a red eye translator as I have a Pace 2000 and my Pace uses IRDA istead of the normal IR signals from a remote. Everything was working greater until the "GREAT UPDATE". now the remote does not seem to change the channels from upstairs.

Anybody have the a similiar problem or could advice me?

Are ntl now trying to force house holds to buy another setup box if they wanting to watch the same channel but on another tv by sending dodgy software updates?

Presumably you've done the obvious of changing batteries? I can't see why it should, but the hot weather wouldn't interfere witht he signals would it?

Which "great update" have you had? ("London" isn't specific enough for me to tell)

RedEye should still work, regardless. Have you ruled out flat batteries, dislodged RedEye, etc?

Thats some software update that manages to change the remote control!

It sounds like theres a problem with either the sender/reciever or the red eye. Have you tried sending a IR signals from a different remote to its corresponding piece of kit through the sender/reciever?
