Mine is a Samsumg SMT2100C, there are two scart sockets, the top one goes to my VCR the bottom one goes to TV, if you are sure your scart cables are not faulty, then your Samsung box might be.

That sounds like spaghetti wiring overload to me

What are you trying to route through the Digisender - just the STB output?
How much stuff are you trying to connect via Scart - how many Scart sockets does the TV have?

You may need to check your settings. I think the scart splitters don't support RGB and that you'll have to switch to a composite signal to get it all to work.

Give it a try. If I'm wrong that's one possible cause off the list!!

Re: video connection with ntl samsung box

This is what i used to do:-

From STB

Bottom scart socket into Digisender pass through, then scart lead into digisender pass through which then connected to scart1 on tv.

Top scart goes into VCR, from VCR to a 2way scart switch.
DVD into the 2way scart switch also.

Scart switch into DVD2 on TV.

If youve only got 1 scart socket on your tv you will have to send all three inputs to a 3way scart switcher and switch it to composite not RGB in your settings on your stb.
